_ Grief
Why would anyone need a grief coach? A grief coach can give you unbiased guidance along your personal path of grieving. I can be a shoulder to cry on, and help you focus your emotions into healthy avenues.
What types of grief do I help with? To name a few:
· Loss of a parent
· Loss of a spouse or partner
· Loss of a child
· Loss of a friend or sibling
· Loss of a relationship (divorce, etc)
· Loss of a job
· Loss of property
· Loss of a pet
When my father passed in February of 2010, each member of my family reacted differently. Some chose vices, some clammed up, some wanted to talk, some just wanted to be held, some “made busy”. Each of these initial reactions was perfectly alright. However, there are five stages of grief, and I have seen many who need help to get through these stages.
Grief cannot be planned out or scheduled. It cannot be wrapped up into neat little packages. At times, the grieving part of you can explode unexpectedly, and at other times, the grief will ease into the background of your day.
I have seen people lose everything due to grief. Extreme cases, but they do occur. I have seen people avoid their feelings with drugs and end up homeless and lost.
Support through grief is what I offer. Support for those times when you feel overwhelmed and lost. Support to help you get safely through. Support to ease your stress and worry. Support to soothe the pain.
Empowerment:
As an empowerment coach, I help you to create healthy habits, deal with sabotage (from external sources as well as internal), I help you to deal with the hurdles and speedbumps that come your way in life. If you are seeking clarity and inner strength, I can help you! You can see what previous clients have said on my testimonials page!
